AC Shadows Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season
In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Revealed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
